Our Approach
We are dedicated to improving the lives of animals through proactive, compassionate, and sustainable initiatives.
Sterilization: We focus on reducing overpopulation by providing accessible and affordable sterilization programs, preventing unwanted litters and unnecessary suffering.
Outreach Programs: Our outreach efforts in our own township and also to areas such as Kareedouw, Loerie and Thornhill deliver essential care, education, and resources to underserved communities, empowering pet owners to care for their animals responsibly.
Feeding Initiatives: We provide regular feeding programs to support vulnerable animals, ensuring they receive the nourishment they need.
Improving Living Conditions: We supply kennels to give animals safe and comfortable spaces and educate pet owners on humane practices, such as alternatives to chaining their animals.
Adoptions: We work to find loving homes for rescued animals, ensuring they have the chance to live safe and happy lives. Through careful matching and support, we help create lasting bonds between animals and their new families.
We strive to create lasting changes by combining hands-on care with education, ensuring a brighter future for animals in all the communities that we serve.
Our Impact
At JBay Animal Rescue Sanctuary, we’ve made a significant difference by controlling overpopulation through sterilizations, improving animal health through outreach programs, and ensuring no animal goes hungry with our feeding initiatives. At our clinic, we treat sick and injured animals, perform sterilizations, sell affordable pet food, and offer a dipping station for parasite control. We also provide temporary kennels to care for injured animals and cats and dogs that are up for adoption. Together with our sponsors, volunteers and members of the community, we are building a brighter future for animals in need.
