Kareedouw Outreach by Michelle and team 😻😻😻Today was a census door to door outreach in Mountain view and Gina kloof. We have an estimate of 880 animals(cats and dogs) in this specific area. It was extremely hot today and we educated people on the importance of shelter with shade along with water and food. We handed out 215 kg of dog food and 12kg cat food. We also gave out plenty of collars,harnesses and leashes. Many of the community understand that chaining their animals is not good practice and we have tried supplying a harness instead. We can see the massive impact that all the sterilizations have had on this townships animals as so few puppies. The overall condition of the animals is also so much better.
